Expertise

Dr. Eitle's research focuses primarily on education in the United States. Her current areas of interest include: 1) school and residential segregation and educational opportunities and outcomes, 2) education policy and the social organization of schools, and 3) social relations in school and immigrant educational experiences. Currently Dr. Eitle is part of a multi-method project funded by NSF analyzing elementary science instruction for English language learners within a high stakes testing context.
