He is leading a team of world-class experts in conduct of ground breaking basic, translational and clinical research and discovery and development designed to improve the understanding and prediction of therapeutic drug action, therapeutic efficacy, and safety in humans to aid in personalizing drug therapy. He provides clinical pharmacology and pharmaceutical expertise to enhance the rational use of medicines across the medical centers at the university and beyond.
