Expertise

Applied econometrics to large-scale cross-sectional and longitudinal observational databases in healthcare and socio-economics, with emphases on:
  • Applied methods of estimating average treatment effects corrected for selection-bias by regression adjustment and inverse probability of treatment weighting schemes,
  • Applied linear structural equation modeling to (a) discover pathways linking observed and latent factors as intersecting vertices leading to health outcomes, (b) estimate the direct and indirect, contemporary and ripple effects of observed factors on outcomes once the structure is slightly disturbed.
