Early Childhood developmental motivation and its relation to motor skill learning and physical activity - Recent projects have involved investigating the effects of mastery climate motor skill interventions on health benefits (heart rate, cortisol), motor development and learning, perceived competence, and attitudes of young children.

Her primary research objectives have been to learn more about what motivates children to learn to move and engage in physical activity.
