Dr. Baggett' s research projects include qualitative research about preservice and practicing teachers' beliefs, with a focus on justice and equity orientations; a state-wide analysis of school discipline policy and practice in Alabama; and outreach work that engages alternative school students in youth research to promote community belonging and empowerment.
