Our laboratory focuses on inflammasome and caspase-1 signaling in pulmonary endothelial cells. Caspase-1 regulates inflammatory responses such as cytokine maturation and inflammatory cell death. Therefore, the majority of research on inflammasome signaling is done in immune cells.
