  • adolescent youths placed at-risk, specifically juvenile offenders, and youth involved in the child welfare system
  • victims of violence and their intersection with law enforcement and other systems of aid and advocacy
  • mixed methods research and program evaluation

Clinical Focus:

  • Parent-adolescent conflict and externalizing disorders
  • Trauma intervention with adolescents
  • Juvenile forensic psychological evaluation

Dr. Stefurak's research and clinical interests are primarily in the area of adolescent mental health and psychological assessment and intervention practices within the juvenile justice system.
