His research focuses on exploring identity with an emphasis on the natural world through sculptural applications in glass, wood, metal, and mixed media. He has taught a variety of glass blowing classes with an emphasis on traditional Venetian techniques and contemporary methods of sculpting glass. His current research is inspired by the natural wonders of the gulf coast region, exploring color and pattern through vessels and sculptural objects.
