Research Interests:

my research explores how state interventions influence local self-governance capacity. I employ the State-Reinforced Self-Governance (SRSG) Framework to assess policy effectiveness in fostering inclusive urban revitalization. My approach combines historical policy analysis and institutional critique to reveal how regulatory, financial, and administrative structures shape governance outcomes. More broadly, my research philosophy integrates critical institutionalism with urban governance to examine the interplay between state mechanisms and neighborhood-based self-governance
