The research interests of Bao’s group mainly focus on rationally-designed nanostructures (e.g. nanoparticles and nanoclusters) for simultaneous imaging and therapy. Specific projects include shape-controlled magnetic nanoparticles for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), fluorescent metallic nanoprobes for fluorescent imaging, and development of nanoplatform for targeted delivery of imaging agents.
Research:
- Magnetic Nanoghosts as Smart Bait for Drug Screening
- Imaging-guided drug delivery
- Shape-controlled magnetic nanoparticles
