Rachel Frazier received a B.S. in Physics (2001) and a Ph.D. (2005) in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Florida. Rachel has been involved with research and development in growth and processing of compound semiconductors and organic electronic materials. She has worked with materials ranging from aluminum nitride to graphene and she has processed electronic devices ranging from high electron mobility transistors to organic photovoltaics. Rachel is a certified Kauffman FastTracÒ Facilitator and helps entrepreneurs plan sustainable businesses. She currently works at the Alabama Innovation and Mentoring of Entrepreneurs center at the University of Alabama where she helps faculty, staff and students identify viable business models for high tech startups and assists faculty with building and testing minimum viable products.
