Her research focuses on understanding intimate partner violence, reproductive coercion, and maternal health/mortality through an intersectional feminist framework.

Amber’s interests include protections for pets, partner violence in rural communities, trauma-informed management techniques within non-profit organizations and social justice as it relates to gender-based violence.
