I view myself as an applied econometrician who specializes in financial econometrics, macroeconometrics, economic forecasting and quantile econometrics. The focus of my research is on developing new econometric methodologies and tests, which are applied to analyze problems in macro-, monetary, international, and financial economics and risk management of the banking sector. In this regard, I also consider myself as an applied macro-financial economist.
