Expertise

Dr. Luke N. Brewer performs research in the manufacture and repair of metallic structures. He is generally interested in processing-microstructure-mechanical property relationships in metallic alloys and ceramics.

He is currently developing cold spray deposition for additive manufacturing and repair of complex structures. He also studies residual stresses and corrosion of welded structures.
