My research focuses on problems that involve multiple decision makers with conflicting objectives and various sources of uncertainty in the context of humanitarian and public health operations management. I am specifically interested in using operations research and analytics techniques to provide solutions that can be easily-implemented and interpretable by the decision makers.
My research interests lie at the intersection between Systems Analysis and Optimization and Data Analytics. My research addresses problems that involve multiple decision makers with conflicting objectives and various sources of uncertainty in the context of humanitarian and public health operations management. I am interested in developing statistical models that learn from multiple data sources within these systems and feed input to stochastic models to provide solutions that are easy to implement and interpret by decision makers. My specific research interests include the following:
- Methodology: Mathematical Modeling, Stochastic Optimization, Robust Optimization, Data Analytics, Applied Statistics, and Machine Learning.
- Applications: Humanitarian Systems with a focus on Social Welfare Operations, Food Insecurity and Hunger Relief Operations Management, Public Health Systems, Quality Operations, Business Analytics, Data Visualization.
