Dr. Angela Barber’s primary research interests center on early detection and treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorder, particularly in children who live in rural and underserved communities. Dr. Barber’s intervention research focuses on the efficacy and feasibility of family-mediated social communication interventions for children with ASD by measuring both child and family outcomes. Dr. Barber also examines factors that influence accessibility to early ASD interventions and resources.
