Expertise

Benjamin Kozuch specializes in philosophy of cognitive science and philosophy of mind.

The research of Dr. Kozuch has thus far mostly focused on using neuroscience to further our philosophical understanding of consciousness.

Much of Ben Kozuch’s research occurs at the intersection of the philosophy and neuroscience of consciousness and has consequences for issues concerning animal and infant awareness and the neural basis of consciousness.

My work focuses on forging connections between the two, using philosophical methods to further empirical research into consciousness, and empirical data to confirm or disconfirm philosophical theories of consciousness.
