Aylin Akca Sumengen Affiliate Faculty

My area of expertise lies in the fields of pediatric asthma and technology. I have 3 years of clinical experience working in the pediatric ward and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, as well as 7 years of teaching experience. Additionally, I have a background in entrepreneurship and have owned a start-up company. I have authored several publications on topics such as child abuse and neglect, vaccine hesitancy, COVID-19, and congenital heart disorders using 3D printing technology. My research interests include pediatric asthma, virtual and augmented reality, and artificial intelligence. I am open to collaborations and eager to research various topics in my field.
