I am an archaeology PhD student with research interests in the field of Southeastern Archaeology particularly within the Pine Hills region. My research emphasis relates to landscape archaeology, traditional cultural knowledge, Indigenous archaeology, and indigenous collaboration as it applies to material culture, experimental archaeology, historic preservation, and cultural keystone species.
I have spent the last decade in the field working with indigenous groups conducting archaeological fieldwork and working with various Tribal Nations to identify the role and application of archaeology in cultural revitalization efforts across the United States.
