Marie’s research focuses on various ethical problems concerning the impact of new reproductive technologies on procreation, and on the resulting moral dilemmas facing prospective parents, medical professionals, and the state.
Dr. Marie Kerguelen Feldblyum Le Blevennec’s research focuses primarily on biomedical ethics, especially the ethics of new and emerging reproductive technologies. She also has an interest in political philosophy and Nietzsche. Marie’s publications include “Fairness and Chance in Diachronic Lotteries: A Response to Vong” in the Journal of Ethics and Social Philosophy (2023), “The Genealogy as Contribution to a Natural History of Morals” in the European Journal of Philosophy (2023), and “Do Victims of Injustice Have a Fairness-Based Duty to Resist?” in Res Publica (2022).
