As a dramaturg and theatre and performance scholar, Dr. Stoneking's teaching and research employ the lens of performance to investigate the ongoing production of racialized and gendered identities. Her current research investigates contemporary embodied encounters with the U.S. Southern past with an emphasis on drama and counter-hegemonic performance practices.
