My research interests are in applied mathematics, fluid dynamics and scientific computing. I am particularly interested in developing theoretical models to simulate and analyze nonlinear physical phenomena primarily with applications in the biomedical sciences.

- Surfactant spreading in thin liquid layers.
- Airway reopening mechanics.
- Evolution of gas bubbles in the circulation with application to the bends.
- Motion of red blood cells in the microcirculation.
