Officer-involved shootings and deaths in custody of law enforcement. These types of cases, which are often at the forefront of national news, are a part of my specific research interests, but also offer unique experience to share with my students. Other areas of research interest include juvenile justice, corrections, and the role of race/ethnicity in criminal justice.
