Current research interests include understanding the molecular and genetic mechanisms of wheat resistance to Fusarium head blight (FHB), Leaf rust (Lr), Pre-harvest sprouting (PHS) and other diseases, and exploring novel genetic transformation and genome editing strategies in wheat.
