My research focuses on characterizing the interactions between mosquito-borne viruses and their vectors and the influence of viral genetics on the virulence, transmission efficiency, and attenuation of different arthropod-borne viruses.

Through collaborative research, I have conducted research on emerging and re-emerging arboviruses such as Zika virus (ZIKV), chikungunya virus (CHIKV), dengue viruses (DENV), yellow fever virus (YFV), and Japanese encephalitis virus (JEV).
