DeLoach’s research interests focus on applying software engineering methods, techniques and models to the design and development of intelligent, complex, adaptive, and autonomous multiagent and distributed systems. His research in this area currently focuses on runtime/design time models, tools, and techniques for smart grid and intelligent power distribution systems, and the use of runtime models for adaptive network security.
My current research interests focus on applying software engineering methods, techniques, and models to the design and development of intelligent, complex, adaptive, and autonomous multiagent systems. My research in this area is currently focused on building the tools and techniques necessary to design and build complex and adaptive systems, where agents work autonomously, but cooperate as part of a team to achieve an overarching goal. I am also interested in building and developing hybrid intelligent systems that include humans, software agents, and mobile hardware agents.
Applications areas of specific interest include sensor networks, cooperative robotics, network security, and adaptive power grids.
At present I am mostly a writer of research articles, journal papers, and technical reports.
