Expertise

Yang’s research focuses on developing theory and computational tools to study the spreading processes of infectious diseases, such as foot-and-mouth disease, African swine fever and COVID-19. She contributed to two National Science Foundation projects at K-State. In these projects, her research focused on the modeling of complex systems and analysis of the system robustness against biosecurity threats.
