While his most recent investigations have been in the area of design communication and the design process, he is shifting his focus back to the area of integrated design pedagogy where he investigates integrated approaches to teaching architectural technology and design.
Professor McGlynn’s scholarship is both an outgrowth and extension of his teaching. It focuses on theoretical and pedagogical concerns related to architectural technology/design integration and architectural design methods.
