Expertise

My research focus is to develop and validate PCR-based molecular diagnostic assays for use in routine diagnostic setting to detect veterinary pathogens and those of zoonotic importance. My special interest lies in development of molecular-based detection assays to identify vector-borne veterinary pathogens. In addition, I am highly interested in developing organ system specific, multiplex PCR panels targeted to common pathogens capable of causing diseases in a specific organ system.
