Expertise

We focus on the design, AM and characterization of heat exchangers, heat pipes, heat spreaders, heat sinks, energy harvesters, waste heat recovery devices, manifolds, flow manipulators and more.

Research: Thermo-mechanical modeling of laser-based additive manufacturing (AM) processes; AM process monitoring, characterization of AM parts, heat pipe design/characterization, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), and energy harvesting.

Scott does research in Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Physics and Mechanical Engineering.
