Research Interests:
- Prevention of chemotherapy induced cardiotoxicity through lifestyle and pharmacologic interventions
- Mitigation of adverse cardiovascular adaptations that occur with long-duration spaceflight
- Evaluation of the cardiovascular responses in clinical populations throughout disease progression and following lifestyle and pharmacologic interventions
Dr. Ade’s group identifies and characterizes patients at risk of developing cancer treatment-related cardiotoxicity in order to mitigate cardiovascular dysfunction while optimizing cancer outcomes.
Research: Kinesiology and Physician Assistant Program – Studies mechanistic underpinnings and clinical features of cardiovascular damage resulting from anti-cancer treatments
