Romulo’s interest in wheat first started as actual crop production, working in his family’s soybean-corn-wheat farming operation, in which he grew up helping.
Currently, Romulo directly oversees over 20 different research projects related to wheat production or applied wheat physiology, most pertaining to M.S. thesis or Ph.D. dissertations of students training in his program.
