Currently, we are constructing novel polymer monoliths containing an array of uniform cylindrical nanopores whose size and surface functionalities can be tuned to collect biomolecules of specific molecular weight range.
Research:
- Fabrication of controlled nanostructures
- Single-molecule observations of separation processes in nanoporous media
- Electrochemical sensing and membrane separations
We are mainly interested in materials comprising nanostructured molecular pathways such as nanopores and nanodomains with dimensions close to molecular and ionic sizes.
