A 2010 recipient of the prestigious ASTDA Developmental Award, Dr. Weaver focuses her HPV research interests to include the natural history of oral HPV infection, HPV infection in adolescent males and the behavioral correlates of STI acquisition in adolescents.

- HIV and STI prevention, Clinical research in new HIV treatment strategies, including clinical trials of new antiretroviral medications, Behavioral correlates of sexually transmitted infection acquisition in adolescents.
Clinical Interests:

To date, my research has focused on human papillomavirus.
My current project will investigate the acquisition of genital and oral HPV infections and the behaioral correlates in adolescent males.
