- Developmental-behavioral pediatrics; early childhood mental health clinical practice and public policy; integrated behavioral health services in primary care pediatric settings; training of psychologists for primary care practice; teaching reflective practice and mindfulness practices to health professionals; parental and health care provider acceptance of childhood vaccines; motivational interviewing; decision-support aids for patients. Her research collaborations include reflective practice of early childhood professionals and factors affecting parental acceptability of childhood vaccines, particularly HPV vaccine, as well as physician-parent communication strategies (e.g. Motivational Interviewing) for vaccine decision making.
