My research interests are: effects of nutrition-related diseases including diabetes mellitus, chronic kidney disease, and obesity on bone and mineral metabolism and bone quality; nutrition and exercise for primary and secondary prevention of osteoporosis throughout the life course, particularly through maximizing peak bone mass during adolescence and young adulthood; and endocrinology of bone metabolism in nutrition-related disease
