Dr. Mitra's research interests include: Understanding the molecular mechanisms of ovarian cancer signaling, role of mutant p53 and ubiquitin proteasome system (UPS). Study the therapeutic potential of small-molecule inhibitors from UPS to target ovarian cancer. Other interests include, cancer epigenetics and drug resistance.
