Expertise
My research interests involve using modern analytical instrumentation to better understand natural, environmental, biological and chemical systems. In addition to teaching instrumental analysis and physical chemistry courses, my primary role is to support research. This involves writing proposals for and acquiring new instrumentation, maintaining and supporting the departmental instrumentation, helping users develop new analytical methods, training users to use instrumentation (predominantly NMR, GC-MS, LC-MS and LC-MS-MS), and occasionally analyzing samples for service.
