Expertise

My research interests are centered on delivery of asthma care to all patients, particularly children with severe, refractory, or difficult to treat asthma. My research has included quality improvement projects aimed at decreasing hospital readmission for asthma, implementation of standardized weaning protocols for inpatient asthma care, and examination of clinical outcomes for the Riley High Risk Asthma clinic.

My primary area of interest is pediatric asthma, particularly patients with severe, refractory, or difficult to treat asthma.

I also enjoy treating patients with a wide variety of pulmonary issues, including airway problems, recurrent pneumonia, exercise intolerance, chronic cough, and lung disease of prematurity.
