Her areas of expertise are adolescent pregnancy and HIV prevention, pediatric research ethics, and adolescent consent and confidentiality.  Her research includes implementation sciences approaches to community-based adolescent pregnancy prevention, adolescent contraceptive access, research ethics with vulnerable populations, and global adolescent health.
