As a classically trained neuroanatomist, Dr. Saxon’s research interests are principally in the field of neuroscience. Although the innervation and autonomic control of the upper alimentary and respiratory tracts was his initial area of interest, he has over the last number of years turned his attention to the function and dysfunction of the vestibular system.
His technical training includes; electron microscopy, neuroanatomical tract tracing, immunocytochemistry, neurochemistry, and a variety of other related neuroanatomical methodologies.
