Expertise

She focuses on the conservative treatment of acute and chronic orthopedic conditions. She has expertise in the female athlete, including stress fractures and relative energy deficiency in sport. She is skilled in fluoroscopically guided thoracolumbar spine injections as well as ultrasound-guided peripheral joint and soft tissue injections including nerve blocks.

Dr. Hulme is actively involved in sports medicine research. She is interested in sex, gender, and racial disparities in musculoskeletal injury, identifying practical evaluations of injured athletes, and ways to prevent injuries.
