Dr. Cindy Hill is a clinical assistant professor in the Community and Health Systems department at the School of Nursing. Dr. Hill has been an RN and worked in nursing for 30 years in both inpatient and community health settings. She currently works in school health and is active in the Indiana Association of School Nurses on the state board as well as being a national presenter for the National Association of School Nurses Focus on the Framework series for school health.  Dr. Hill is passionate about health promotion of all ages but loves to improve health outcomes in school health by working alongside nurses in the community.  She holds national certification as a pediatric nurse as well as state certification (teaching license) in school health. Dr. Hill is active in both the Beta Rho and Beta Phi chapters of Sigma Theta Tau.  While at IU School of Nursing, Cindy has taught clinically and in didactic in Collaborative Practice, Families and Populations, Transitions in Health and Illness intensive as well as the RN to BSN Consortium.
