Dr. Sarah Wiehe is a pediatrician and public health researcher. Her research focuses on how poverty, associated social determinants of health and context influence health-risk behaviors and outcomes for children, adolescents, and young adults.

As a pediatrician and public health researcher, her research specialty is leveraging existing data to improve health inequities among children, adolescents, and young adults.

My research focuses on health equity issues among children, adolescents, and young adults.

My clinical interests focus on serving children and their families who face systemic and structural inequities through prevention and empowerment. I serve by listening and offering guidance to my patients and their caregivers while embracing cultural humility and a partnership approach to healthcare provision.
