Research: Best Estimate Diagnosis for Bipolar Disorder Studies, pharmacological treatments for psychotic, mood and anxiety disorders, treatment optimization in the primary care setting.

My primary focus is the care of patients with severe and persistent mental illness through community based programs developed to promote care optimization using a multidisciplinary team approach. I have found the team model to also be applicable in the primary care setting as integrated psychiatric care efforts evolve to best meet patient needs.  I strive to improve community based programs to more effectively and efficiently meet patient needs and promote wellness through patient-centered psychiatric care in the context of the individual’s overall medical treatment.
