Research: I continue to be a co-pi to Dr. Hall’s Indianapolis Ibadan dementia research project. This projects a longitudinal study of dementia risk factors.
My clinical practice is 80% geriatrics and approximately 50% of those patients have Alzheimer’s disease. Here I treat Alzheimer’s disease, identify caregiver burden and help caregivers by referring them to the Alzheimer’s Association or to groups in the community or to caregiver group held at the VA medical center.
