Dr. Carter’s research includes work with tumor molecular profiling and outcomes in the treatment of relapsed or refractory pediatric sarcomas. She is also working on developing an investigator initiated therapeutic trial for relapsed or refractory solid tumor patients in line with Pediatric Precision Genomics' molecular profiling data and is serving as the quality of life lead for the observational cohort trial, Precision Medicine for Kids with Cancer (PM4KC).
