I am particularly interested in how members of these communities experience care at this level. I am committed to understanding how variables at the patient, provider, and healthcare system levels interactively determine these disparities. The ultimate goal of my research is to inform public health policies that intervene on, and eliminate, the mechanisms maintaining the inequities leading to disparities in health.
Other research interests include psychometrics and test development, including the validation for use in culturally and linguistically diverse populations.
