Expertise

My current clinical, teaching, and research focus involves working with individuals who have serious and chronic physical and mental health conditions such as PTSD.

My primary research interest is evaluating the effects of cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness interventions for individuals who have PTSD, schizophrenia and chronic pain. I am also interested in understanding how therapeutic alliance and spirituality influence psychotherapy outcomes.
