Dr. Paris’ research within the team involves examination of the receptors and mechanism involved in human platelet uptake by porcine liver and lung cells.
Currently she is also working on projects identifying epitopes on pig cells that human antibodies bind. Dr. Paris is also screening human and porcine cells for enzyme expression, carbohydrate presence.
